They are probably the best independent organic dairy producer in the UK and one of a tiny number of organic butter producers. The milk is pasteurised, but non-homogenised, a minimum of processing so it's practically straight from the cow!
They are also innovators with the Eco Pak milk packaging and milk jug www.calonwen-cymru.com/eco-pak/ which, essentially is milk, in a recyclable plastic packet with much less packaging than your standard plastic bottle.
