It's all about 5 a day
At Dig HQ we are great advocates of a sustainable approach to buying and preparing food and the New Year always brings with it a review of how does this principle work in practice when we all have busy lives. So as January comes to a close and all the healthy new year resolutions seem to get harder, I have been looking at how to make this simple and effective. So after many hours reading and researching it seems that the answer is quite simple – put all your effort into your five a day and everything else falls into place. For example if you eat fruit as a snack then you are less likely to eat a low nutrition, processed biscuit which ticks the good nutrition and one of your five a day box. It really does seem to work.
